Now Twitch lets streamers sell game products to their viewers without having to go to the Amazon site.
The idea of the Twitch and Amazon partnership is that the equipment and games that streamers use and often recommend to their subscribers during live broadcasts could be purchased right on the platform where the video is streamed. Plus bloggers will get a commission from the live broadcast purchases.
Game developers will also be able to create interactive icons for broadcasting in applications, when clicked on, useful for the viewer information will appear. The Twitch Extensions will add widgets to the channel, they will be customizable for each broadcast. Users will also be able to use the extension to create interactive polls without any other resources.
The exact date of Twitch Extensions launch is not yet known, but the developers promise to tell us more at the TwitchCon Developer Day conference on October 19, 2017.
